How to connect Brazilian data to your AI with MCP

BrazilStack exposes one remote MCP endpoint at /mcp. This guide walks through connecting a compatible client and verifying that Brazilian tools are available.

What MCP is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI clients discover and call external tools. BrazilStack presents the active Brazilian data catalog as MCP tools behind a single endpoint.

Add the endpoint

In your AI client, add a remote MCP server whose URL points to the BrazilStack endpoint. Compatible clients use OAuth discovery to authenticate.

Verify the tools

After connecting, list tools with tools/list. You should see Brazilian sources such as central-bank, statistics and procurement tools.

Extract a real answer

Ask a question such as “Explain the current SELIC environment using official Brazilian data” and require the agent to cite the source of every important claim.
